Further proof that unlimited trials are a good thing: some time after soundly berating FunCom for holding my characters hostage and deleting them, I am now playing through Tortage to see if its improved any.
I would play EVE – but we’re in about our 8th consecutive week of War Decs, and this week, we got two of them. So…I’m not doing much their but finishing T2 shield tanking skills in anticipation of owning my first ever Caldari ship – the totally wicked looking new Scorpian.
I would play Everquest 2 – but I have nobody to play with. I’m in three different guilds on two different servers. In two of the guilds, there is never more than one or two others on, and while terribly nice to me, they don’t have much interest in grouping with me. In the third I joined a new guild (got a shiny plat for that too!) thinking that I would be able to play with others my level. I signed off around midnight, and when I got back in the saddle 21 hours later – I was still level 9 and everyone else was in their 20’s. …
So, I’ll take out my frustrations via decapitation and disembowelment. That is all, carry on.

I have a great deal of respect for Fallen Earth, but honestly, whenever I think about how many more levels I’ll have to climb through before I can wield something other than a BB gun, I cringe. I do love what they are doing though. I may have to reup for a month at some point just to give them some cash for their efforts, seems like they could use it.
That’s why you get two garden spades and whack the crap out of things, instead. Guns? I don’t need no stinking guns! 😀

I actually prefer the bokken or the golf club myself. (-; But that’s the point isn’t it? If you want to melee, theres tons of options, if you want to go ranged, theres very few. If nothing else, the variety of BB guns and crossbows needs to be upped.
Still, a great game. If I do come back, I’ll give you a heads up for sure.

Totally /agree re: Turach. The man stops lava for a living. And he’s in the perfect spot to hit on all those low level chicks who totally don’t know better yet.
I saw the guild post on your site. Not sure I can join a guild while in the trial though. If I can though, I will. And if I resub, I will as well. I need peeps to play with.
